As a lifelong surfer and former resident of the Outer Banks of North Carolina, I became primary a seascape painter. In 2015 my wife Krista and I moved to Amherst County to be closer to family. I still paint seascapes but I also paint the small towns and countryside of Virginia’s most beautiful county.
Around 2014, I became obsessed with working in miniature. While I still record the world around me, my latest endeavor is capturing the family snapshot of yesteryear.
I cull my images from family photos complete with big wheels, big hair, and big smiles.
My work can currently be found in the following galleries:
Second Stage, Amherst VA (Studio)
George Billis Gallery, NY NY
Nichols Gallery, Barboursville VA
